“LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION! ” offers some of the most interactive, creative and FUN camps in town for kids ages 8-13, this summer from June 4th – August 10th, 2012.

STOP MOTION ANIMATION; Bring in your own objects in and make them magically come to life in your very own video. Be the director and while moving objects in small increments between photographed frames, create the illusion of movement when the series of frames are played. If you love taking photos and making videos, this is the camp for you!
COMPUTER GAME DESIGN: Use your creativity to design, create, and program a computer game while using math, logical reasoning, design, creativity, game play, and programming skills. During the week, you can even design animations!
PRODUCE YOUR OWN MORNING SHOW: Gooood Morning Westin Kierland! At KNN, the Kierland News Network, we provide round the clock news reporting. Producing your very own morning show with everything from “on the spot” reporting to weather, you can be a News Anchor or journalist on location reporting vacation news around the Resort!
MEDIA MADNESS: Split into daily mini-projects, explore your creativity in all sorts of ways!

“Parent’s Night Out” and FREE Kids’ Pajama Party
While parents enjoy dinner at Nellie Cashman’s any night of the week through July 30th, kids ages 4-12 can come to Kids Club for dinner, games, movies and more! As of July 31st, Pajama Party valid Mondays and Tuesdays only during dinner at Nellie’s, and Wednesday – Sunday for dining at deseo.

FUN at the OK Corral
Located adjacent to the Adventure Pool and shaded against the Arizona sun, the OK Corral provides hours of FUN with activities like lawn chess, basketball, game tables, and RC Car Race Tracks. The fire pit at the OK Corral is the place to be to enjoy “Kierland Kampfires” and Arizona S’mores, and a seating area with tables and open space offer the opportunity for FUN outdoor activities and events like water balloon games, hula hoop contests, limbo, relay races, and much more!

Kierland Kampfires & Arizona S’mores 
The Westin Kierland Resort takes traditional s’mores roasting to a whole new level as a signature activity and popular evening ritual. Arizona S’mores provides a unique Arizona twist to the favorite past time as a cinnamon and sugar crisp is used instead of the traditional graham crackers. As a central part of the Resort’s Family FUN program, Arizona S’mores is available to Resort guests as a complimentary FUN activity for families to relax and unwind from their busy day of swimming, shopping, and sight-seeing.
“Arizona S’mores” takes place every Friday and Saturday at the “OK Corral” over the open fire pit for a fun and memorable experience for guests of all ages.
